Stuck trying to get past the secured door in the mines to find hans(radiation door)

i talked to the guy close to it and he says a need a valid reason or something so he can help me open it but idk what to do now

you need to fuses in the fuse thing for the sensor and then take the minitrain with the big carts and run it into the water so it blocks the sensor from reading it. the door will then unlock

I also encountered the same problem. Someone told me that I needed to upgrade the basement, but my basement has already been upgraded.

Not the basement, the mines. You need to do the first mine upgrade.

ah, you didnt go on a date with the lady in the management office. you should still be able to request the one permit... try the office and or management building. i also seen people get okayed by the one guy selling things down there. not the mining permit, the other one

The key point was that after upgrading the mine to Grade I, one needs to have a conversation with the traders in the service area. I overlooked this point.

You need the passport for a mining permit, unless you went on a date with the woman in the office. You don't need one for access to the repository and having both tasks active shouldn't matter.

That's incorrect. I was able to receive the mining permit without having the passport.
