Uses for mushroom extract?

I've been creating mushroom extract to raise my chemistry level, but now I have a bucket full of it and no idea what to do with it. I've tried slotting it into various things (mashing/fermenting barrels, distillery, etc) and not found any use for it besides the Homecoming Celebration quest. I'm not sure if I'm just missing something or if there just aren't any other uses for it in the current version. Anyone know of any uses for it/vendors it can be sold to?

you need a little bit for a quest from a guest in teh speakeasy bar
you can sell it to the shroomz vendors at the location the very same quest sends you to, but there are two ways to interact with them. the speaker system is for trading, walking up the stairwell to the top is for the quest

and you could use it yourself, if you want to commit sudoku, or you want to become very addicted for the lols or for the achievement

the guys behind the speaker are on the floor above. there is a whole quest about them.
the bridge guy (afaik) only gives you a forged passport and the free bridge pass

Cheers! I actually had already tried selling it to the speaker guy as an 8L bucket and had no luck, but your comment gave me the idea to try again with it in bottles instead and that worked - looks like he only buys it in smaller quantities/up to a certain value.

vendors have a limited amount of money. some things cannot be sold as the vendor simply cannot affort them. i did buy up their stock to solve that issue once or twice

Can you even get it? I keep trying to make it, but I get nothing, or some Glowing Bottoms. I even have Chemistry maxed already, but nothing comes out

Sounds like your game might be bugged, I've been using it to level Chemistry this entire time (currently at level 8 or 9) and made several litres of it. I would suggest starting a new thread and/or asking about it in the devs' Discord server, if it is indeed a bug they might be able to fix it in the next update.

I actually just figured it out. It only seems to work if you use a 20L Plastic Canister. If you use the 1L Big Bottle, it will not work.

You can also sell any bottoms to the decorative plant vendor
