Not cleared

hey,

i don't know if it is a bug or what but i go to the renovator and the room im trying to do says its not cleared. but when i go to the room its empty there is nothing in it. I cant place anything in them either. this is on floor two by the way im not sure if the same issue is on the other floors.

any advice on this matter?

Or is it that your can't have specific rooms. I'm seriously confused and I don't know how to progress

Some graffiti/dirt still on walls and floors? Or those chains hanging from the ceiling?

sometimes it appears that there are invisible objects still in the rooms. There's a "destroy all" command in the console (hit f1, type help). If you've pixel-hunted and can't find anything, stand in the room and type the destroy command into the console.

so i did your destroy all command thing it said 288 items destroyed. it looked exactly the same and i went to the renovator and the percentage didnt change its still on 36% cleared (and 7% in the other appartment even though both are empty)

i took a screenshot but i cant post it here

edit: i then restarted a new file and did the same thing. i checked the renovator before taking stuff out. it said 2% cleared, i then went took everything out and it said 2% cleared then i went back a third time and destroy all items and it said 233 items or something deleted went and checked again still 2% cleared. i really really need a fix or something because i really enjoy this game but not being able to get all the rooms cleared and what not makes me not want to progress.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I had apartment 5 and apartment 6 get stuck like that and I think it was going back through and tracing the walls of each room like I was examining it again that did the trick, either that or moving in a new tenant/renovating a room so that the file associated with apartments gets updated. The catch though is that it only seems to fix itself once you start the game again. So if you're trying things and looking to see if its fixed in real time and then quitting without saving you'll never get anywhere.

I'll just hope for an update that can fix the issue 🙂 apart from this its a good game.

So I had the same problem and I ended up having to restart my run. It looks like if you clean up the tenement before talking to the contractor guy when it first opens up, the game won't see that you already cleaned up before the quest started and will lock you out of completing it

A thing that might help, is standing in the Apartment house, and open up the Tennant tab. this seems to unlock all the appartments that are not recognised as cleared.

This worked for me :)
