Are Tenement containers safe?

Simple question, I want to store things in my building and I placed down a suitcase I found. Is it's contents safe or will they be replaced when everything respawns?

They're meant to be safe, yes. But others (myself included) have had entire pieces of furniture go missing (in my case: a fridge full of food) so I wouldn't be surprised if other storage containers can go missing as well

It is an Alpha so stuff happens but good to know!

No things just disappear. I have a feeling it has to do with an item cap. I've had my biogas generator, a metal lathe and large fancy display case all disappear before I noticed it. That was after I added a ton (maye 600) empty wine bottles to my large wine rack so I could start making wine. I had maybe half an inventory I had collected. So I started a new game to see if it would do it again.

I've had it happen with small items I stole that were already sitting out when I stole them. stole some meds from the kitchen of that quarantine room near the pods business, placed them on a shelf in my apartment, they just dipped out after a little bit, I'm not sure how fast

Oof. Not on my end tho, I was only like 10-11 hours in when my stuff went missing - had 1 upgrade to my building (3rd floor), barely anything in my personal apartment (1st floor).

i think i reported items missing bug like minimum 2 times, devs said they supposedly fixed it.
everytime i play, i religiously restart the game every hour or so because after playing for a while, it seems the console gets too many errors and the game starts making items disappear again.

i swear this item disappearing bug has been plaguing this game since the beginning.
its less bad as before, a tiny bit more stable. but ill still get items disappear on me once in a while.
i really hope the devs will fix that ♥♥♥♥ once and for all, cuz tbh i am sick and tired of restarting a whole new save because half my ♥♥♥♥ is gone and i must test on a new update.

havent touched this game in about a month now, waiting for more bug fixes and stability fixes cuz items disappearing is literally making the game unplayable.

Yeeeah, that's the only reason I didn't report it - github mentioned checking to see if the bug has already been reported - saw it was reported a few times and yeah, saw the same thing, someone saying it was supposedly fixed.

I've been keeping my saves in order from 1-10, swapping up one save every 20-30 minutes, that way if things disappear I can try and go back and check each save until ♥♥♥♥♥ not missing. Hopefully minimizing lost progress. It should help - but still, need to write up a review letting people know what to expect
