After you've rented an apartment, you can increase rent for it by increasing the apartment value with further upgrades. Planning where to put who ahead and in what order might also important to increase rent.
You can't really get that type of income without over saving resources in the game.
It just a guess on my part,
But when more story areas are added, like more of the Opensewer underground city and the Bazaar. You'll have access to more Jobs and Vendors that can offer larger sums of income as well as more unique crafting blueprints and production items.
You could just do long term grinding and max out the tenament the hard way,
But frankly I'm going to sit and wait for the Bazaar and story update so I don't just end up crushing the rest of the game by over grinding.
Chop the trees around the O-Shop and the back street next to it, take the logs to the table saw, make lumber, turn the lumber into furniture parts. I can't say I remember where the schematic is, but if you can find it, it can give you some steady income.
It appears there is not really a crafting super skill to really get the party going at this time.
Best I have found personally is metal sheets to lockpicks, furnace to turn shaving into bars, heat bar up, hammer it into another sheet. repeat.
one metal sheet = 450ish in value for lockpicks
oh and the skill has a low fail rate and not long its 0
guys...I do not think these safes reboot and when we are talking about needing for example 20,000 oc and 1,000 RM those safes aint going to cut it.
those are early game money makers
oh..now that is new for me.
