he wants em we can pick em in a cave but they need to be from the mine instead a little confused as to why they don't work but ehhh ;)

This quest in not release yet like many other quests for this one you need to wait until next big update that is going to add the mines just like the main story quest.

i do get it just saying orange mushrooms are orange mushrooms xD they should be able to work once that next step of the quest is added to the game imo

i think they would work if we could get by the step "find a way into the mines"

its thats step thats blocking the quest I'm betting after that step completes is just "get ## of orange mushrooms"


the dev has said its completeable but have no clue why he said that.

The main problem I see is that the current quest objective is: Find a way to get to the mines.
Not to bring him the mushrooms even if you have them.
So until the objective enter the mines is archive we are stuck.

I'm currently farming orange mushrooms in the basement so they are not going to be a issue to find you can also buy them from the gang.

You can get orange mushrooms, but it requires you to progress far enough in the story that you clear the flooded chambers to access the sewers, then get yourself arrested, get your stuff back from the locker and picking the locked vent at the back of your cell (don't get seen). You'll end up in partially cleared mineshaft that has the mushrooms, then find an alcove that has the key to unlock your way through a door allowing you to eventually make your way back into town.

If you want ot get arrested easily, I think you just have to trespass into the prison, get your stuff from the locker and go back into the open cell so you don't get the jailbreak bounty, You technically already served your time, so no crime was committed when you escape through the vents.

-- Meadowbrook i picked those the first time i got arrested so i was able to access that area on that part of the quest but that is good to know there was order to the chaos... as that gives access to said cave

funny thing is when i picked that vent i ended up getting rearrested when i came out of the vent xD

and there is the drug dealers for them as well but he seemed like he wanted ones specifically picked from the mine
