Trouble with the last demon v angel fight

I try to focus on the side I've been defeating and I just can't make any progress without having to click on the opposing side. Any advice?

On the last duel (as for the second one), you have to focus on one side while clicking a little on the other to prevent the spiral to fade away.

How long do you have to hold that up? I got it almost immediately when I sided with the angels the first time around, but I'm having trouble with it siding with the demons.

Depends who you helped during mind breaking, and also the number of pearls.
I stayed neutral, have 2k pearls, and everything was really fast.

Yeah, I did that successfully with the second duel but the third one I can't seem to be able to do it. Will this have something to do with my pearl count? I have something like less then 1,000.

The first time I played it, I had around 1,1k, and it was fairly still easy (I'm not using an auto-clicker and I don't click that fast).
I just had to reset because the first two duel didn't show me the possibility to replay them (passed them before the last update).
You can go to the Angel and Demon page and click the side you want to lose (check the number at the top left, could be positive or negative regarding the side you're helping).

What I noticed that has me a bit confused about what I'm supposed to do in the third competition is that getting the spiral to its fully-colored state causes it to sort of... plateau. No matter how much I click on its side while it's full it starts to lose color the moment I stop clicking on its side. This implies to me, at least, that I lose any progress beyond a certain point on a given side the moment I stop clicking there. Am I supposed to juggle back and forth to where they're both mostly full and then go all-in on the side I want to lose?
850-ish pearls, was planning on resetting after finishing one side of the war so I could do the other without having to reset an extra time.

I;m having the same exact issue. I have about 1100 pearls and all achievements that give bonuses. This is literally the last thing I currently have left to do in the game, and I can't get past it.

Let's say you want to make the Angel to win, you enter the duel, you can click on the Angel side 10 times to "color" the spiral, then you hammer the Demon as much as you can before the Angel spiral disappears (better if you don't let it completely fade away), then you click a few times to color the Angel spiral, and hammer back the Demon,... Like I said, I first did it with around 1.1k pearls and it was quite easy.

Just to be sure, while writting the first part, I loaded the game and tried once again. I have exactly 2,080 pearls, I have a neutral mindbreaking on the Angel and Demon (so it should even be easier if you mindbreak only one side). I clicked only 5 times on the Angel, then clicked as fast as I could on the Demon, and around 40 clicks later (can't count that fast) I won while the Angel spiral was just about to disappears.

Thank you for the advice, but I clicked about 200 times on the angel while keeping the demon distracted. Nothing ever changed. The angel has a -240 for mindbreak It seems like the main difference between your setup and mine is that you have more pearls and have neutral mindbreaking. I'll set things to neutral on my end and see if that does the trick. If not, I don't think I'm willing to reset the pearls at this point in the game.

I find the duel easiest at +/- 200

The real catch is that the scale between demons and angels needs to be as even as possible. Having the score too far in either direction will make the battle impossible no matter who you want to lose.

Thank you! This tip is what I needed. The battle is very easy when the score is 0-0, and you can go back and have the other side win to get that graphic card. Terra is also easy. Thanks again for your help!
