Save Files?
OK, so i was playing this game on newgrounds.. I've abuse the hell out of my mouse to get where i am. Current version of newgounds is 0.08. I'm currently running 0.08 here on steam. Save file names, and file format is identical between the web version, and the steam version. I thought i could transplant my save file information, and continue from where i left off.

The problem i'm encountering is that when i replace the existing save data with the save data i want to use, the game hangs on launch, and then start as if it's a brand new fresh game. behind the scenes, i find that the application has erased the transplanted save data, and replaced it all with default save data. Additionally, opening both the desired, and existing files in a text editor, reveals that the formatting of the files themselves are HUGELY different.

Is there any way to get around this, and transplant save data, so i don't have to absolutely murder my poor mouse to regain all my progress?

I know a way around murdering the mouse for window PCs

enable mouse keys and you can use the number pad of your keyboard

Yeah, i considered mapping the mouse buttons to a controller with something like Xpadder, or PIEfree, or using mouse keys, but i also didn't want to hafta do everything over.....it took me several hours to get to the point my save file is at.

I do appreciate the input, though.

If transplanting the save files doesn't work, I'm not sure what to suggest trying next. It seems to work for some people and not for others, and I'm not entirely sure why.
