Then in 1980 on the 8th month, you'll get an event to spend a little agent power and money to found the UAR.
Yet in my ending, it still say that "not all Arab country decide to join the UAR and of those who join, a struggle for power..." Is there anyway to help our Arabian comrade put aside their difference and unite as one ?
1. In beginning of game (before Anwar Saadat event), make intervention in Egypt.
2. In the Anwar Saadat event, pick the top choice (not the lowest or the assassination option)
3. When the Iranian revolution happens, support one of the factions (preferably leftists). You must then fund them several times before Iranian Revolution: Endgame event pop ups.
4. If you were successful, Iran should now be leftist. Any faction other than the islamist faction is good however.
5. Begin inviting all the arab countries in to the UAR (Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq).
6. Wait for the Lebanon War to happen, save some intervention points, military points and agents (and money).
7. In the Lebanon War, support PLO until 100.
8. When PLO wins the war, go to world map and click Israel. Pick negotiations.
9. This pops up and event, choose the Union State of Jews and Arabs as solution. On the world map, when you click ''influence'', Israel should now be in yellow color.
10. Play until 1985 and you should be able to get the achievement.
Update: new attempt, I reached the above elements but 18 Army Power, 80 Dip.reputation and, new information, Relations with Powers at 24 (USSR) and 23 (USA).
Did you remember to press the button to intervene in Egypt prior to the event?
Also I think you are correct that a high diplomatic reputation is needed, but I am uncertain (I almost always have a high diplomatic reputation regardless). Also, I think some factions prevent you from doing it, but not sure which ones.
