Any ideas how to achieve the following in the same run?
I'm trying to do a run where China becomes the next super power in the world by having a large economic union and military alliance. Are there any advice on how to achieve the following in one run?

Crucial:
1. Include all of Indochina and south east Asia in the military alliance and economic union.
2. Solve territorial dispute with India (preferably gaining the land) and become friendly with them.
3. Form the UAR and invite as many as possible and influence them and make them in economic union / trade.
4. Influence on a unified Korea (whether by war or diplomacy)
5. Influence / trade / alliance / economic union with Mongolia and Japan.
6. China becomes the most influential power at the end of the game.

Preferred:
7. Restored relations with USSR.
8. Influence as much of Europe as possible
9. Declare friendship with USA.

The biggest problem is the diplomatic reputation thing stopping me from doing actions with the communist countries either in the map or the events after I turned reformist for the money so I can't support rebels or people etc but if I don't turn reformist I don't have money or I can't make deals with the more liberal countries.

I also saw that you can support leftists in NATO but what exactly does that do? I can't imagine you can destroy NATO and turn them to Socialists?

1. Thai civil war is long and will drain many resouces. Don't forget to help Thai commies in the event at the starting months of the game
2.Not possible, it's broken
3.If you exlude Iraq - doable. Need to interact with Egypt before 09.1977 and make a top choice in the event
4.war is much easier
5.Japan only if you can mange going back and forth with diplo. rep. Mongolia is a "simple" one - just 10 $ and "just" 25 agents just before game ends
6.Just increse the bloc and it will be done by itself
7.It's waste of resouces, if you're not going into its bloc, or needing it to force Poland into you sphere of influence
8.Greece, Albania is Europe. No Western Europe trade for you, because you're 100500% is above 50 diplo. rep.
9.Also hillarious prosal - you'll be only paying them 10 $ from time to time.

Supporting the maoist in Western Europe is decreasing the influence of USA. It's waste of resouces, unless you can somehow conjure loads of agents and do impossible achievement of decreasing the combined soviet and us influence below 10.

1. You need to both invest a lot in the military, and get your industry high asap. Getting Thailand means starting the war for Thailand immediately and if you don't do it, too bad. Philippines is easier: just keep funding Maoists until you get it and ignore Marcos. Getting Malaysia means having an industry of 70, and that will take a lot of technology. You can't get Indonesia without Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
Vietnam is a little more tricky. You can either go the peaceful route or the not-so-peaceful. You can let Pol Pot pick a war with Vietnam and support him, but this happens early-game and will make the war happen at the exact same time you're trying to win in Thailand. Do you want to have to win two wars at once, in the early game when you don't have the tech/money/etc. for it? I'm not sure if it's easier or if Cambodia winning means Vietnam is your puppet, but I always write it off as 'too much work' and just replace Pol Pot as soon as Mao dies.
Then, Vietnam will try to join the Comecon later. You need something like 8-10 agents to stop them. So do it. The USSR will not be happy.
Finally, you get the event where you can either ignore Vietnam, do nothing, or try to negotiate. If you do a war, it becomes a 'special war' that isn't in the war tab, you just feed more troops to the meat-grinder until you win. I don't recommend doing this. For one, you'll barely have enough army to send troops each month if you have up-to-date techs, but even if you win, you can't get Laos because Laos won't want to negotiate with you because you conquered Vietnam. So, choose the 'negotiate' button, lose more agents, and then trade and invite them to your union, and get Laos too.
2. I'm not sure how you gain it peacefully, but to gain it by force, just don't support either side when an event about India comes up, and then send troops to support the Naxalites until the event to declare war happens. Then, get ready for another 'special war' and feed more troops to the meat grinder until finally you get the land.
3. You need to do the action that supports Nasser-ites in Egypt before the event with Sadat fires, then hope you have enough agents/influence/diplomacy/whatever that the first option to form the UAR appears, then get the other countries to join it. Win the war between the PLO and Israel, then negotiate with Israel and the choice of "make a separate palestinian state". That one is always available, but I'm pretty sure it will only work if there's a strong UAR demanding it. I haven't been able to do it.
4. There's two events revolving around Korea. One is a rebellion in south korea that you can encourage with much money, army, and agents, and another is an act of terrorism by north korea, in which you can condemn north korea, south korea, or do nothing. You can choose to give weapons to North Korea and resume the war, in which case a new war will appear in the war tab. As for a peaceful reunification, there's an option to enact sanctions on North Korea. If you do this, you can make demands that they liberalize, in certain increments. (Allow some political plurality, add market reforms, or a complete democratization.) If you ask for too much, North Korea will refuse and instead ask the USSR for help, enter the Comecon, and you're out of luck. Not sure what it checks to determine the result. You can also put pressure on South Korea if you support the rebellions and have Vietnam, Thailand, and Philippines in your union.
5. Brezhnev won't die until late game, so getting Mongolia will be hard because you progressively less agents as the game goes on unless you really work on your army techs. Japan to be reformist is a little easier: kill Kenji Miyamoto early, then have enough agents and a diplomatic rating low enough that you can take control of the Communist Party Japan during the election events. (I think you need to be a little more 'soft' to get Japan, since the CPJ are reformers.) After that, you need an industry rating of 80 to trade with Japan. Good luck reaching that.
6. Really if you can do all this then you will be the most influential power. I guess you can try to influence Africa?
7. Just keep throwing agents/money at them, support socialist causes without threatening their power-structure, don't put too many liberals or reformers in your party hierarchy, and then you can easily restore relations and enter the CMEA and Warsaw Pact. Make sure you re-invite all the countries that were in your own economic union and military pact if you do this.
8. You can get Albania, Yugoslavia, and probably Greece p. easily. You can also invade Macao and Hong Kong if you have Argentina win the Falklands war. Anything else requires either liberalizing (for the West), or walking a tight-rope of being friendly to the USSR without joining the CMEA. (You can bribe Romania into joining you, affect Hungary, and there's an event for Poland I have no idea how to trigger.)
9. Why? They will definitely be embargo-ing you for running around the world like a giant bully for doing all of this! Still, if you must, you can have a 'bird cage,' open the SEZ, and if your diplo. rating gets below 60, then you can have them pay you a few billion dollars once a year.

You are very powerful, but you cannot do absolutely everything. Even taking Thailand will require a lot of resources to the point you may have to ignore the rest of the world. Aim for little goals at first, then expand.

About Pol Pot - you let him leave only for achievement. In 99,99% you oust him with interaction in the day of Mao's daeth.
About Vietnam - war with vietnam is always a worst option.
About your resources - this isn't a DDR in Ostalgie you can't influence all.
You sould consider leaving Thailand alone or Iran. In normal difficulty you simply don't have resources. Japan and South Korean interactions are also woth dumping, if you have SPECIFIC goal abou them
Even on lowest possible difficulty you can't do all at once.

I laughed at this one. Very true!

I think the easiest to influence is India/Pakistan/Afghanistan. Just give up on the territory and get a free trade deal with India, Pakistan will follow to the socialist side easy, then help them defeat islamists and save afghanistan, you can get ♥♥♥♥/Afghanistan in your Union easily, and probably Iran too later, even if the islamists won. (They're very likely to win their war with Iraq, even more if you help.)

Tl:dr All of those things are impossible, you can't overtake the superpowers and maintain a good relationship.

The first 6 are possible, I've just done it but it requires a lot of management, Starting up u want to max out loans set diplo missions to 0 (its useless your global influence is the main factor for intervention) party envelopes to 0 (lowers corruption, can manage party loyalty from events) science to 19, state function to 19, services to 10 (long term reaction to incompetitive economy at 1980), rest of the income on MSS (reserve 1 money for thai leftist funding) research the 2 agricultural techs first.
Check every month if you can increase loan amount. Increase MSS funding up to 18 then military to 18.

For the starting events don't take a stance (minimal impact on party and people opintions) except for the event before tianiman squre, support the reformer, it allows you to take the least repressive choice (minimal impace on opinion), also arrest all the radicals and don't adopt planned economy (you're going to need to manually adopt it later on to increase diplo reputation to continue to influence phillipines)

You need to support buttuo (3 money availiable), win the thai civil war (support left oppisition +1 money 3 agents, only send arms when u can), support maoists in phillipens every year, don't intervene in Indian elections (+1 global influence), support nasser sympathysers in egypt and support socialist regieme in egypt (7 money 5 agents), support left opisition in Iran requires support 3 times to win (6 money 9 agents each time), support Iraq communists (10 agents needed for the option but only 3 uses) support pasok in greece (same as iraq), eliminate ♥♥♥ communist (5 agents 4 money to support in event), to make afganistan maoist u need to create the economic union before they lose (2 intervention points minimum every 2 weeks, use army only untill u cant), don't form mil alliance untill you've won in afganistan.

If you want to solve territorial dispute with India, do not have any relations with Pakistan, then support Indira Gandhi in event and finally restore relations. In the end game you should be able to get the territorial dispute solved (you get achievement, but not arunachal pradesh). You can only gain the arunachal pradesh territory by having no relations at all with India, supporting naxalites and then going full war against India. After war with india, you must send troops in to India every month until the option disappears and in the ''View'' tab, under territories, arunachal pradesh is under Chinese military control.
