Keep the soviets strong e.i don't weaken their sphere of influence and successfully automate the economy. P.S maybe restore relations

I think you are able to weaken the Soviets a bit, i.e. in my game I took Vietnam and India from them and went automation. They also went automation, but we were not in the same alliance so I'm not sure if that has an effect (it also doesn't fulfill the achievement conditions).
