Please know that most of our games are exclusively designed for native Windows support.

After few more testing, disabling intel virtualisation technology in the bios is the solution, but... why ?

This issue happens in most of the games. So you got to disable it to play anything

Same problem with NVIDIA GeForce NOW, but it cannot be solved from user side :D

The thing that fixed for me was disabling Hyper V.

iirc its related to Denuvo DRM which has problems with virtualization ... i guess part of its anti-tamper functionality

What the hell guys? No one else has this problem. I shouldn't need to adjust my BIOS to play the game. Besides, I have a legitimate reason to run VMs. I'm not disabling that just to play your game.

Got my refund. Fix your game and maybe I'll buy it to keep.

Wow! Really!? I'm not buying an i7 and then disabling virtualization. The Dev managers on this game must have lost the plot. Find a different way to prevent cheating. I'm not buying a game that forces me to cripple my PC for any amount of money. Hell I wouldn't play it for free.

I had same issue. I got same error on my desktop PC. If disabling IVT is the only solution, then I won't play this game. I have no intention to disable my PCs virtualization for some stupid reason which are known only to devs.

I applied for refund. Good job Ubi.

AFAIK it's not about preventing cheating, but rather about DRM; disabling virtualization makes it harder to analyze the DRM and, thus, crack it.

This is part of the reason I won't purchase games that are currently protected with Denuvo, in their quest to prevent games from being cracked they have no respect for actual paying customers. Thus I don't want to support their business model in any shape or way.

This is the first time that I found that disabling virtualization it's a requirement to play a game, and its something that Im not going to do.

Really Ubi?

Had this issue as well. Turning off virtualization, to my surprise, didn't resolve the issue. My system name was "HomePC" not the Windows default "Desktop-whatever", but I changed it anyhow. Changing the name seems to have resolved the problem for me. Hope this helps someone else frustrated by the situation.

Welp, guess I'm waiting till there's a crack to try this game. If anyone cares enough to crack it that is
