Thanks for the interest and I'd like nothing more than give you a release date on the Linux build. Unortunately I don't have one yet, but I can tell you 2 things:
1. It's definitely going to happen
2. Should be in the order of a few months time
Sorry to keep you waiting ;)
As for the Linux version always last.. Apple has great development platform tools (I so anti-apple tho, that mindset apple gives off).. Linux is a little behind in some aspects on this, or at least messy.. yeah sure similarities in OpenGL but targeting Linux is a little more involved as you have many different distros configs and whatnot, and the less dependent on the underlying system the better. I'm a big fan of Linux and have been using it for years.. but even now it sometimes feels like nuts and bolts under the hood and some programs don't act the same from one binary to the next, some don't full screen properly and soo many different sound systems..
Linux would be the last OS I target as a developer just out of sheer market share alone. So if a developer decides to port to Linux, really what they are doing it to support Valves effort to deem Linux worthy of any targeting at all and to that effect the platform Valve has established.
Don't get me wrong.. Like I said I have used Linux, to name a few; Sabayon, Fendora, Ubuntu, Mint, and recently Debian. I just rather thank any developer who even glances our way rather then complain; we are always last or the developer doesn't really care. Like that’s really a great motivator. In any case I'm happy to see this come to Linux when it's finished. I need to reinstall Linux in fact but really want to avoid Ubuntu this time around.
To find out this game has a linux port in the works.. thank you! =)

Real sorry for the long delays but I finally have an update. We've never done linux development before so we're getting some help and we're finally getting close to ready.
If you really press me for a date I would say we really hope to release it on March. When exactly is hard to say, but we're feeling pretty confident it won't have to slip another time.
Thanks!
