did they fix the remaster

if u dont care about achievements the remaster is fine. if you want achievements your only choice is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 170

I tried the Remaster 1 chapter long or so, and that fast-paced 💩 breaks the uniqueness of the physics; go ahead if you want to speedrun, but v1.7 was totally fine to me, and I did not even have trouble with what others would call 'Inside-out'-occurrences ... only natural to me.
