Edit: Can anyone tell me if the Humble DRM-free version is the same as the final Chronic Logic version (i.e. the last good version of the game before the original broken Steam version was released)?
9. Some sound effects (such as ropes and chains breaking)
10. A time trial secret level accessed via one of the Egypt levels.
12. Scoring system is altered. Combo system is removed. You also don't get points for breaking blocks. (although I can see how the last feature is useless)
I just redownloaded it from Humble and it's version 1.6.1 "Turbo Edition", timestamped 2011/11/9 (I'm not GMT, so there's the difference). I also have gish1531.zip from my original download of it from the very first Humble Bundle, though it's on an offline drive I'd have to spin up to check. I am guessing 1.6.1 is definitive.
The variety of the removed features and content is really surprising. The game seems to have been chipped away at from all sides. It's not an accident and most of this stuff won't be coming back, possibly none of it. I've moved Gish into my "Obsolete" Steam category.
they added already available levels before and called them "lost levels". Custom levels menu already had those levels and a lot of another levels:(
Hard not to lose a bit of respect for Edmund after reading that. It's mobile dev logic and I really didn't think he was responsible for this massacre.
