Version 1.2.0
  • Added a new endgame progression system called the Intergalactic Fishing Society
  • Once you finish the main quest you will be approached by someone while at any ULT Network Lake and will be invited to join the Intergalactic Fishing Society.
  • The Intergalactic Fishing Society keeps track of your fishing accomplishments and you gain fame for doing certain things which allows you to level up and receive rewards. The system is broken into three different sections: Career Goals, Challenges, and Bonus Tasks.
  • The Career Goals section keeps track of career milestones and awards fame when you reach one of these milestones. Career Goals provide you with long-term goals that you can shoot for in various areas of gameplay.
  • The Challenges section provides a list of challenging feats that will test your mastery of different game mechanics and your fishing skills. Each challenge can be done once and gives fame when completed.
  • The Bonus Task section provides a way to gain fame on a regular and repeatable basis. You will be assigned a task and upon completing that task, you will gain some fame and be assigned a new task. Bonus Tasks provide you with varied, short-term goals so if you aren't sure what to do, you can always work on your Bonus Task.
  • Added three new types of fish contracts that are available after completing the main quest
  • Discovery Contract - You will be assigned a certain requirement of a fish and must bring a fish that meets that requirement to complete the contract. The fish must be of a species from a previously undiscovered Unknown Lake (i.e. a lake that you have not previously visited)
  • Scientific Contract - You will be assigned a certain fish species from an Unknown Lake. You must discover all information about this species and then bring any fish of this species to complete the contract.
  • Temporal Window Contract - You will be assigned a certain fish species from an Unknown Lake. You must bring a fish of this species that meets the minimum weight requirement to complete the contract. Due to an unstable teleportation link, you will have a short window of time at the lake before being teleported home.
  • Fish Contracts now reward a variable amount of credits (instead of always 150 cr) based on their difficulty
  • Updated design and layout of Fish Contracts everywhere they are shown (Fish Contract screen, ULT Corp Dock screen, Objectives panel, etc.)
  • Added career stat for Fish Contract Earnings
  • Fixed a bug where the Teleport to ULT Corp Dock button on the Fish Contract module and the Tournament module wouldn’t show up after completing the main quest
  • Fixed a typo in the description of a module
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when traveling after Gambling Gary’s arrival, but before he talked to you
  • You are no longer required to have an empty livewell to join the Daily Tournament. Obviously, only fish caught in the tournament lake will count towards your final score, but you can keep fish in your livewell through the Daily Tournament if you would like.
  • There will be a warning message on the Daily Tournament screen if you do not currently have 8 available livewell slots. You can still join the tournament with fewer than 8 slots if you would like.
  • The “Tourney” tag will now show up on valid fish in your livewell during the Daily Tournament
  • Added current BOAT to Inventory panel
  • Added ability to name your BOAT
  • Added new keybind for Use BOAT Special Ability
  • Added new keybind for Toggle IFS Panel
  • Added new entry in the Help panel for Intergalactic Fishing Society
  • Reworked systems related to BOAT movement speed and BOAT Jet Augmenter modules to be more consistent and clear.
  • BOAT Jet Augmenter modules now display their “Augmenter Power” on the module panel when equipped. An augmenter power of 1 is the same as a BOAT movement speed increase of 1. The resulting “Total BOAT Speed” (which is base BOAT speed + total augmenter power) is also displayed on the module panel.
  • BOAT Jet Augmenters now also increase the acceleration of the BOAT as well as the max speed.
  • The actual movement speed based on this “Total BOAT Speed” now scales linearly (previously it had some minor oddities). As a result, total speeds below 10 will have a slightly higher max speed than before, a total speed of 10 will be unchanged, and total speeds above 10 will have a slightly lower max speed than before, but will have a higher acceleration.
  • TFG Incubator’s broken in bonus changed from “Rod sells for twice as many credits when broken in” to “Rod sells for triple its price when broken in”
  • Added 6 new BOATs
  • Added 4 new Rods
  • Added 5 new Modules
