So about seeds and gardening...

I am not sure if it's a bug or just the whimsy of luck, but since data/wiki stuff for the game is a bit in the air at the moment...

If you let a seed mature fully where it only offers to have you harvest but not water, will the plant still 'die' or the like if you don't harvest it immediately? I have had stuff I've planted sit and I pick it up fine, and other times I apparently get nothing at all (seeds or product) when I pick it up.

it's not a case of forgetting to water it while growing, but seeds and produce take up a lot of space and time, and I had thought that was a decent way to spare space until you needed the stuff and then grow it again. Is this a bug, or design?

To note, it is currently winter time, if that plays a factor.

Very interested in an answer to this question, because I am also confused about when to plant what, and why I often don't harvest ANYTHING. Plus, I seem to only get seeds when harvesting chamomile, wheat, and potatoes. Everything else I have to keep purchasing seeds for.

I think that may be a bug

I always get seeds from everything (crops too) even if i leave them without water/ready to harvest

having 100 items over item limit, doesnt make them dissapear too

I just tried this myself and couldn't get this replicated. If you have more details (or save file where this always happens!) I can have a look, because that's definitely not supposed to happen.

If a plant is fully grown, it will effectively stay harvestable forever (9999 days before anyone tries to call me out on that).

If you fail to water a plant 2 days in a row (when it's growing), it will wither. This is marked with the icons being greyed out, a different graphic for the plant and black particles coming out of them. If you "harvest" them in this state, you will not gain anything. Other than that you should always get both a seed and whatever it is you're harvesting.

The season doesn't necessarily matter, but if you're planting/harvesting it in the correct season you will get 1 bonus resource when harvesting.

If you're experiencing anything else than this I'd be very grateful if you could provide me with a more accurate accounting on what exactly is happening, because I cannot replicate anything unintende on my end.

Stupid me thought the watering automatically happened, since that's what it looked like was happening when I moused over. Once I got into the habit of watering the crops every night after shop close, I never had this issue again.

Hello,
I'm starting a new game again, after a few months without playing, it's still a pleasure.

I accidentally sold my vegetable garden while plants were growing there.
Of course, I lost the time of grow but more annoying, I also lost the seeds ; only the vegetable garden was reimbursed to me.

Is it planned as well or is it just not planned to make this type of error? (I'm testing with the joystick there so not too used to the keys)
