Is becoming queen/the king's mistress a possibility

I decided for my first playthrough to go full crown, and was still trialled (for the Austrian thing) - even though I could keep my head safe.
In the trailer, during the "it could have been so much more", there was a picture of Yvette on the king's right side. Was it for the trailer only or is it a possible outcome?
So, I always chose the crown when there was a choice, but
1) I never peddled influence, I wasn't sure of the money I needed,
2) I sold the Crown's gossips as any others.
Maybe these two things made me pro-Crown, but not extreme enough to unlock such a thing? Or maybe it just doesn't exist?
