[Bug] My entire village turned into children and their ages are shown as negative

As per title. I entered the game and all of my villagers somehow turned into children. All of them have a negative age (eg. age -225) which is very bizarre. In addition, the mixed herb I was crafting now has a crafting duration of 21 days (original duration is 10 minutes). Has anyone encountered this before?

Usually happens when the time on your system has been tinkered with.... i.e. speeding up time to make the game think its a day later than it actually is.
