Trick Attack: Attack a row 3 times, if the last enemy dies all remaining attacks are wasted.
Magic Boost: Double the power of a spellcast, useful for saving slots.
Exorcise: Attempt to kill a row of most undead, doesn't work on some like Spirits. You get half xp.
Hide: Reduce chance to be targeted and can Sneak attack next turn if still hidden.
Identify: Attempt to ID an item, if it fails your Bishop may become afraid and unable to cast.
Shield Wall: Attempt to take attacks in place of other party members.
Haven't gotten to use a Samurai or Ninja yet so unsure what their's do exactly.
Exorcise works on the enemies on the Undead list in the Bestiary.
Back Stab is an all range attack that will steal gold from a row the first time it is used on an enemy in that row.
The ability name in game is Appraisal and Bishops also get a 2nd ability at level 16, Magic Wall, that creates a barrier that negates enemy attacks until they have done more than the barrier's hp in damage.
The Lord's ability name in game is Huge Shield.
Samurai has Shougeki-Hamon no Jin which attacks every enemy in the front row for half damage.
Ninja should have Hide/Back Stab like the Thief. They may also have a chance of instant killing.
You need to level up your thief/fighter/mage until they unlock their skill.
I forget when they learn thier respective skills...but i wana say its around the 2nd half of getting to Level 10. (so Levels 5-9).
After the character uses the turn focusing, you can use thier skill the next turn...or you can hold off on it by doing normal attacks/defending/casting until you want to use it. Thiefs/Ninjas cannot Normal Attack when Hiding, only Back Stab/Assassinate until they are "found".
