What is yellow icon with U shaped symbol?
After completing the "Riot Control" mission I noticed that there are two, yellow icons with U shaped symbol on mini-map near the Saints' hideout. The icons are not displayed on the tab accessed city map.

What are they?

Must have been a glitch. They aren't there anymore.

Noticed them too when I flew over after this mission. I think they're there to make you aware of an 'u'pgrade of the Saints' hideout - Purgatory. They seem to mark the location of the new elevator spots and disappear after you use them.
