Second Brotherhood Mission with Donnie

I can't complete this mission as it is glitched for me in some way, this is the mission where I need to protect Donnie as he plants a bomb on four different trucks, when he finishes planting the first bomb, I am told to detonate with a detonator I am supposed to have but don't. Therefore meaing I can't advance in the game. I am wondering if anyone has had the same problem or knows how to get past it? Thanks

once he has planted the bomb a red ring should appear. you have to be outside the red ring in order to blow up the bomb

Yeah I've tried that, even went all the way down the street to see if it would work

move your game save to your desktop then uninstall the game then install it again then put your save back where it should be there problem solved.........
