Saints Row 2

Saints Row 2

Saints Row 2 pointing to save games
I hope someone may have an answer to this quandary.
I have been playing and/or replaying all of the SR games and have a (insert obscene Number) of hours invested in them. Then windows crashed (as it is like to do) and corrupted my boot record. I have reinstalled the OS on another drive which of course causes a myriad of additional issues. I was able to repair SR1 and Xenia with no loss of save data and SR3 - 5 now work with a few integrity checks through Steam. My problem is SR2. The game itself works just fine but it cannot find my save data, which is most likely on a renamed to whatever windows likes to rename your drives when you make a new C drive.
Does anyone know how to point SR2 on steam to the correct save data as I am sure it exists out there and I do not want to lose the 228 hours I put in on the game?
I am up for either moving the files to a place where the game can see them or pointing the game to the save files. Just not sure how to do it.
Thanks for any help.

Issue resolved:
For any who have this problem in the future,
The game creates a new save folder on your new C drive
C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2
Naturally this has no save data in the sr2 folder
Go to what used to be your C drive find the same path as above and copy the entire saints row 2 folder
Replace the Saints Row 2 folder on your new C Drive with the one from your old C Drive and the save games are back.
No loss of 228 hours..."Whew"
