Terrible control while tagging

Does anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it? When I try to tag (spraypaint) in this game, my mouse either moves at absolute snail speed, or flies across the image uncontrollably fast if I move my mouse further.

Yeah I am having that issue was well. I tried changing the mouse sensativity but it doesnt seem to do any good. Thinking about switching to a 360 controller just for those parts at least.

i don't dont know why u people have issues with the game ? my games work fine no issues . try upgrading your system . i got a 3770 k with a gtx 760 no issues what so ever

Try to spray straight vertical and horizontal lines. Mouse over a blacnk area and then press the mouse to spray. DO NOT keep the mouse button pressed all time. Spray most of the tag and the game will let you just press "F" (or any button you have choosen) to complete the tag. Be carefull not to spray outside the designated area.

I heard the controller sensitivity effects the Mouse too?

I know this is an old post, but I'd just been Googling around to try and figure out if the godsawful mouse control during tagging was actually intentional or not (playing on the Linux/SteamOS port, though it seems that it must've been happening on Windows too). While tagging, the mouse just behaves very erratically, often as if there's something stuck around the laser or something, though the mouse behaves totally fine elsewhere.

I'd been wondering if it was maybe intentional, meant as some kind of difficulty for the tagging, but in practice it's just annoying enough that I haven't bothered beyond the first couple of tags I completed. Would be nice to know if there was some workaround.

(And to Spartan1388's point, just spraying individual circles isn't really my main issue. I'd quickly resorted to just trying to do circles since the controls were so terrible, but the mouse movement is glitchy even while you're just trying to line up the paint area.)

Guys, it's because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port. They didn't care if the game was complete trash, they just wanted it to be on pc. That's why you have the speed up problem and all these other problems.

Also, I haven't noticed the speedup problem or anything else.
The tagging works fine for me, I like it like that.
I really haven't found a problem that pisses me off.

It's a port of the Xbox 360 version, so any processor that runs faster than the one in the 360 will run the game faster than it should.
