Juiced Patch Co-op?
So I heard that the juiced patch should make co-op work as it did back in the day but I am not familiar with how the co-op works with the PC port (Mostly played on 360 until 2018ish). I'm introducing someone new to the game so I want it to go smoothly so is it just the patch I need or do I need something to fake a LAN connection or any other mods please let me know. What I have right now is GOTR and Jucied V5.1.0 which I'm going to walk my friend through setting up later.

Juiced includes OpenSpy, so just make an OpenSpy account through the game and connect there.

Just wanted to chime in.

My buddy and I are 60% through the game using the juiced patch and it's perfectly synchronizing our progression. First time playing SR2.

Finding each other online is as simple as title menu->co-op and finding each others game by searching server name and password. You'll need to "sign up" in-game to gamespy but it'll take any made up e-mail you give it to let you log in afterwards indefinitely.

Just make sure each of you finish the tutorial/escape from jail mission before finding each others game.
