sr2 patch is never releasing

I think we can all agree at this point this patch is never coming. After the god awful reboot I have 0 hope.

i think it will release, the community needs to chill and let the dev's work. THEY ARE DOING IT ON THEIR FREE TIME. UNPAID. then when you look at how many people have used Mike's(idolninja) death as a reason to work on the patch.... i wouldn't work on it either, ungrateful internet incels. Patience is a virtue that clearly has been forgotten.

The original iteration of SR2 Patch that was going to be developed by IdolNinja, Minimaul, etc, are most likely already cancelled. Volition and Deep Silver just don't want to admit it through any official way.

I don't expect any news until SR2022's third DLC and Steam release, as they don't want to cannibalize sales of their "latest and greatest game ever made".

Afterwards, it is up to Gearbox (not Volition) if they want to create a full-fledged SR2 Remaster (Not Patch) for PC, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.

lol dude most gave up years ago i think we can all agree that someday saints row will fade away for the next best thing & the forums will die along with it and most will probably grown ass adults then trying to function in society when they eventually reboot the franchise again in some form and everyone is oh i remember the originals like doom or others that have rebooted recently

the fact that the idiots in this section of steam decided to give you those awards showcase that they don't deserve anything. Its sad that the game came out broken and buggy but in the end this community as a whole deserves the pain of never getting its way. The funny thing is they will often sing about how the newist saints row game is too woke and built for snowflakes but they seem to be the ones crying the most for not getting their way (Ive never played beyond saints row 3 cause I didn't like how 3 felt)
