GOTR Patch set my game to German and I can't set it back to english.

Ive tried forcelang_en, doesn't work.
When not using the patch I get to 60% loading and it crashes, when using GOTR it gets to 30% LADEN and crashes.
The only fix ive found is to use the SR2 Uncut Patch, but then I can't connect with friends. (This changes my game to english atleast.)

Have you tried verifying game cache?
Perhaps a clean install will help.

When you set the format to EN (US) in "Region and language" of the control panel, the game becomes English version. SR2 refers to this registry to determine the language to use.

While this shouldn't matter as I'm Australian, I tried to switch all my language settings to US En (Followed this https://www.windowscentral.com/how-properly-change-system-default-language-windows-10 )
No dice, still in German. When launching without GotR it plays in English.

Please set the 'Date & Time' format to EN (US) instead of adding another language.
SR2 refers to the value in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\Locale and selects the language. The value when "Date & Time" is set to EN (US) is DWORD 00000409.

I'm sorry I can not verify with Windows 10 because I am using Windows 7. Even so, it is very strange that German is chosen even though the OS country/region is Australia.

I'm assuming that you own the censored German version of the game. GotR is not compatible with either the base German game or the uncut patch.

Is there a way I can tell if this is true? My game doesn't mention that its the german version but this would make sense, seeing as the SR2 Uncut Patch works.

Easiest way to tell if it's the German censored version is the opening mission of the game. In the German one there is no doctor to kill when you wake up from the coma in prison with Carlos.
