it was mostly theives, rapists, and some traitors (very small percentage were political) that were sent to the gulags. Also, within a few years most of them were released. Why not make game then about the US prisons where the US has the most prison population in the whole world?

The other reason - it will be also a survival game - we love brute but awesome Siberian nature and we want to give western players a little look and feel of it.

I think You know aproximately... NOTHING.
Emperor`s regime terrified workers and peasants as class.
Emperor`s regime was no effective and lost Great War.
Emperor`s regime could not modernize industry.
Emperor`s regime was destroyed by the history, but not by Temporary Government.

Communists made modern economic, then they made mobilization.
When West countries performed golden blockade of USSR (not accepted gold for technologies, but only wheat) , the same time they sponsored Nazi Germany, to attack then USSR.
Stalin was wise to make choice: Not pay by bread, corn, wheat for technologes and die by Hitler (and US Government after it). Or pay the price of starvation and win war = keep country.
We live now, thank to Stalin.
Every real russian is communist inside.

Are not You guys embarrassed by fact, that most of people in Russia and in CIS who lived in USSR are sad about it`s destruction? May be they know something? For example true face of global capitalizm which brought to our countries damage comparable to WW II?
Capitalizm destroyed hundreds of millions people in the world history and it continue do the same things now.
Capitalizm leads planet resourses to quickly exaustion by one-time-things (broke-as-we-planned-one?-buy-another).

It`s higher level of discussion and may be I`m in common agree that somebody imposed satanic living conception to humanity, when people fight between two ideologies non of which is fully correct.
