Dev name change?

Did anyone else notice that the developer and publisher names have changed to Team Mental instead of Madmind Studio? Anyone have info on what that's about? No hate, I'm just genuinely curious.

Team Mental was a smaller studio owned by Madmind Studios. I believe they were primarily responsible for development though, after the poor reception on release, Madmind laid off the entirety of the studio and changed title ownership to distance themselves from the game.

This game still shows up on the list of games that they are associated with. I guess there is a reason to why that is. Do you think this was the right call from them? It seems like they didn't want to take any responsibility. I guess there were some heated arguments that led to them jumping ship. I was really interested in this game until I saw all the negative reviews. When the ratings turn positive I will buy it, until then I will just keep it in my wishlist for a while longer.

I doubt they will. I would just remove the game and put it on ignore.

The whole name change reminds me of the whole "The Day/Scam Before"

If they cared about the game, they would have been working on it, updating it and more. What do they do instead? have a name change. Their last post was back in Dec 2023

Sounds like most "apology" type posts Devs usually post. Sorry it didn't launch to our expectations, didn't know it would be so terrible.... they haven't kept in touch and I am sure they aren't working on it.

All they did was a name change and dipped.

Pretty sure he damage was done already. Most people know the publisher was madmind. I just came back to see if the price dropped a lot to buy it but saw a different name.
