I got up to lvl 20 or so and after clearing 2 dungeon bosses I thought to myself, gosh... shouldn't I be dead by now? lol. Fresh off the boat and my char is still going strong! hah. Well, at any rate and I unequipped the armor but the bug remained. I saved and exited and upon reloading I took dmg normally and died. So yeah, definitely a huge bug. Btw, game seems awesome! I dont regret my purchase.
Wow! That is actually something Ortan should really look into immediately not only because people will be able to go super far without dying but that means when you equip an item with a special effect it is then bound to your character even when you unequip the item because this happened to me with a different enchant as well.

With items that increase damage and MP but decrease HP, when you equip them the stats are bound to you character. So for example I equipped a shield that had that effect and then when I took it off the effect stayed on my character. The only fix I found for this was to save and exit and then come back in. So far I have only noticed something like this with that particular effect however it may be present with other effects on unique items
The above text is what I had originally put into the bug report discussion yesterday about enchants being bound to your character even when you unequip the item
It has actually been happening to me quite often now and even without the HP regen enchant so my previous theory is wrong. I honestly think that Ortan should just do away with health regen completely and make it so you can only use potions and the little red ball things because health regenerates really slow anyway, and removing regen completely would make the game more challenging and fun, and probably fix this issue.
^^^^^I put that under the other discussion but I guess I will paste it here too so it gets more exposure
