Ok I thought maybe I had to progress past him to move on but then I realized I could switch back to the castle through the warp gate. I guess I didn't really understand how the warp gate worked cause when I did that things were a little easier till I hit the Queen at the end. I heard she can be tough too but maybe easier than the Anvil guy. I guess I just need to keep running them through the floors, correct?
Is that Primal lands in dimension 6 always going to be in that warp or once I defeat the queen do I go to another dimension and I can't go back to the Primal Lands? Not sure how this works.
The main reason to run primal lands is for gearing purposes and that goal is fairly useless before you reach the warrior dimension in the normal dungeon because every time you progress to a new dimension you lose all of your gear and gold. This means pushing through the extra difficulty of PL to get gear is wasted as you progress.
Because Primal Lands scales up in difficulty significantly faster than the regular dungeon, it's best to hold off going there until you're quite far progressed in the normal dungeon. Even then, you'll be having difficulty issues in the Primal Lands at a much lower level than in the main dungeon.
