What do you all normally do with extra resources?

Even selling and liquidating give minimal money compared to what you're getting at high levels of castle or PL.

Is it better to sell them, let them accumulate to max and therefore not get anymore because their money value is insignficant, or is this why there is Chef? I don't use Chef normally but maybe I should be using him if the value of what he brings to the group by using up the resources, is a better return on investment than selling the items for gold or letting them accumulate to max.

Let me know what I can do with these resources? In particular, I also wonder about ore, because while Lab and Uranium are still rare to get a lot of, the others do accumulate pretty fast also when doing mining runs. But yet there just isn't that much stuff to craft with them, once you've got what you needed.

Chef boosts mining gains quite significantly with magma souffle so that could address both of your issues. You''l get use from otherwise useless resources and gain more uranium / lab while using them up.

Just make sure you only select resources you don't care about as ingredients. Even when chef runs out of stored ingredients, he still boost your mining gains s decent amount using just what you find while running.

This Thread has info on setting up a mining team with chef. I'ts a bit of a read but you can skip to close to the end. The info was pre-PL but still works, you just have more options for ore find now and have to worry about delirium.
