Obsidian farming guide?

Anyone have some tips of farming obsidian? I am at 1.4m floor, and have only gotten 300 of them. I managed to get that one little item for the time blade, just don't have enough obsidian. Running a team of 5 thieves 1 nurse, ransacking everything with an item find of 370 I get maybe 2 a night.

I don't believe item find affects ransack at all. Your best option is to maximize item find and run for speed to get more drop opportunities. That means cutting out the ransack time that doesn't significantly increase your drops.

Run 199 IF (more than that actually lowers legendary drops according to wiki), authorize key for bonus treasures, and a single thief for all 3 chest is enough, not worth ransacking for items & ruining your fph.

ya seems like 1 thief and then all blademasters with as much item find as possible is ur best bet atm ; i just start around floor 1-5k and let them go for a few days ; if u have all the oddity shop bonuses u can even forego the thief i believe ; i basically do dbl-duty with this team and run every blademaster with a frying pan and the staff that gives 20+ item find [and of course the wireless fidelity unique that gives like 40+], so im getting lots of items as well as food drops

Yeah so have an update on this. I ended up just going with my regular team of HWNHHT and ran my regular floors at 1.3m and started getting about 15 obsidian a night. Got my sword this morning.
