It's effectively infinite because you can only progress through levels so fast. I think the highest is 2400ish floors per hour so it'd take a long long time to get to any real limit due to coding.
Another way to answer is no, there is no "max" level to end at, just grinding as high as you can.
I'm sure there is an actual "limit" but we just don't know what it is. like Pac-Man had a "cut-off" of 256 back in the day because of memory constraints. I'm sure Soda Dungeon does also, but it's just such a ridiculously high number that it doesn't matter because no one will ever reach it playing legit without hacks or cheats. Say... 999 Quadrillion or something ridiculous like that.... but, it does have to have a numerical end for sure.
If you have no intention of playing it as an idle grind game then yes, there isn't really anything for you after dimension 10.
There is a hidden achievement to curse an enemy with dark mage (turn them to stone) and then use miner's pick axe skill on them that I think was a hidden achievement that wouldn't be attained passively.
Soda Dungeon 2 Achievements[soda-dungeon-2.fandom.com] if that's not the one you're missing.
