The only thing I can think of that you might be doing wrong is not unlocking mineshafts in your dungeon settings. Or starting below level 1501.
Item Find does indeed have nothing to do with Uranium, so you shouldn't have included that particular red herring in your post.
That's making sure I have scripts set right to transmute the last enemy every level except for when the only enemy is a resource carrier and with mine shafts turned on and making sure not to run area damage that can kill everything before only 1 is left to be transmuted.
If you're relying purely on ores that spawn normally on levels instead of transmuting almost every normal enemy level or running without mine shafts turned on, you won't see anywhere near as high a drop rate.

It's RNG
Also the drop rate is much better at higher floors,I start from floor 1000 and I finish whenever I get bored of the long runs and It's EZ pz . but rn doing a 48hours run pushing to level 260k . I don't need ores at the moment . maybe when my team will die when i reach 350k ...
But, considering OP is saying he's getting only 1 uranium ore in around 1,860 levels and myself and others running the right setup are seeing around 1 in 300 levels, RNG can't really be the only issue.
I could see RNG being accountable for maybe a 10% to 20% difference or even maybe in extreme cases a full doubling of the average levels per uranium but RNG causing 1/6 the drop rate over such a long run seems a bit hard to believe.
If I were going to place a bet on it, my guess would be OP was running with X set to murder every level with bosses and more than 1 normal enemy or even possibly just set to murder every level before miners get to even act.
Right now I'm sitting at 6 uranium ore out of 3,600 levels.
I 've been doing it the other way 'round (transmute then murder), which is more likely to put the transmuted ore ahead of any natural ore lodes, and when that happens the miners ignore the natural one for no good reason.
I'll change it to your way and add about 1% to ore recovery (every little bit helps).
If I can figure out how...
I'm almost 5k levels deep in a mining run today and seeing slightly lower than my average drop rate at 11 in 4750ish levels.
I started at level 10k which is lower than I normally start though. Usually I start around 20k jsut to squeeze more essence out of the run but today I just wanted to start it and forget it for as long as possible.
Miner team is pretty slow -- almost 10 hours to get those 4750 levels...
