Atm Item Find Bonus is buggy, actually it increases the chance to find common and uncommon stuff. So you find rare / legies even more rarely than without it.
Nope, same equipment.
A run between lvl 1 and lvl 899.
.- 1 Nurse, 1 Mystic, 4 Dark Mages -> nearly no good equipment, mostly low-grade and low-lvl (and few)
-. 1 Nurse, 1 Mystic, 3 Dark Mages, 1 Thief -> a plethora of stuff, from rare high-lvl equipment to gems and ingredients/materials, tons of them
All of them equipped with the 4-leaf clover in both runs.

Agree, yet they're extra useful for boss fights.
Honestly, maybe it's my fault for being too stiff with my strategies, but some bosses are giving me some really hard times.
The only way I've found to effectively fight them is overpowering. So much for the strategy.
Until patched (Devs are still working on it) Item Find is broken and gets "lots of items" instead of "better quality items" this is noted in the dev log and one of the main things they are including in the 'next patch.

The amount of loot I'm getting when a thief is in the party cannot, absolutely, be explained by opening three chests rather than one.
We're talking about ten times the loot, including weapons, armors, shields, ingredients, accessories and materials. And the levels of the items are higher too.
Maybe I've overlooked some other detail? Possible.
But it's not about the chests, it doesnt add up.
Well, it's either the Thief class, or item % find accessories/gems actually work.
They absolutely do work. Just not in a way people like. Item find is bad for legendaries, good for everything else, potentially even for rares in a break even sort of way, if you stack enough of it. If not, it is bad for rares too. Item find, finds more items. This is going to be changed in the future patch, item find will no longer apply to common and uncommon items.
