Is the dark Lord worth leveling?

So I beat dimension 10 with a full team of nurses, is thew dark lord good to level up to til I get his class relic....if he has one

Yes. He is part of many of the late game recommended teams. Usually used as the main damage due to his speed passive allowing him to act before janitors.

Before late game, he is still useful for that effect and to prevent the occasional ambush death with his other passive.

The Dark Lord is your designated Janitor Killer as his Speed Passive ensures he kills off a Janitor even before it does anything.

once you get to WD, you focus on getting class relics. Dark Lord takes awhile since you cant have more than 1. Once he gets to 25, he is insanely important. Once he hits 50, every serious team build focuses on him. He is the star, everyone else is support.

eventually, it focuses on him alone, with a nurse or 2, and 3-4 cheerleaders (characters that just stand there because X is able to handle every threat alone better than anyone else).
