-sulfur : take a thief you can drop from lvl 500+
osbidian: it's 900+
uranium : uranium is hard to find, you can mine from ore nodes form 1001+, so take some miners, geode trinket and lvl up ore find relic
Run a miner group from level 1000 and you'll be able to get gold ores like crazy and uranium ores rarely. It's the only reliable way to get uranium actually.
Don't waste gear on geodes, all you need is 100 ore find for the max effect ever and even with no levels in the relic, it only takes 4 miners to get over 100.
You should be running all 6 or at least 5 miners for a full on mine group to get the max farm rate for uranium so you'll be over the 100 ore find cap without any gearing or essence put into the ore find relic.
Go ahead and gear for other farm stats on your miner group, maybe even try for 80 item find so you can get a decent rate on obsidian and sulfur at the same time.
I have been running thieves with gold armor, gold shields, and +168 (six +10 silver necklaces, and six +18 staffs of something or other) item find from 1,001 and up. It never occurred to me to switch out the thieves for the miners, so I feel like a silly gal for totally spacing out like that :/
Do NOT gear for ore find.
It's a counter productive stat when you're running a normal essence farm group because it increases the chance you'll lose a normal enemy to being an ore. This removes 1 hit of gold gain and, if you're still scripted to prioritize attacking ores for some reason, can add a considerable amount of time for nearly no gain.
If you're running for ores specifically, you should be running with as many miners in your group as possible using a transmute script. In that case, every miner in the group is adding +28 ore find without using ore find gear or the ore find relic. This means anything you add from gear or the relic is 100% useless because there is no effect from ore find over +100. You can hit that cap with only 4 miners that can transmute.
If you really want to farm Uranium, your best bet is to do it after you hit a decently high level in the dungeon so that your health, mana, attack, and magic damage relics are fairly well leveled.
At that point, you can just load 6 miners with skull blades or tech gems and start your mining run at level 1001 where uranium starts spawning. If your health relic is high enough, you'll easily be able to survive the minor damage you take from ambushes with no more healing than regen relic and fairies. Just toss a chicken charm on 1 miner to prevent a bad luck janitor dark dreams from causing you issues and let your 6 miners grind everything into dust.
Someone in another thread even posted a link to some more in depth information including a script and gear setup that was able to use claws to multi hit clear without sacrificing transmutes.
