Question about materials. Useless and very rare

1)Ok first of all, what is the purpose of all this food in the game IF it's only sold for like 6 gold a piece (absolutely wortheless even early game, really), it's not used to feed your party members or your pets? Basically, you only ever need bacon for certain stuff oh and you may also need occasional food items like meat to upgrade your tavern with. Apart from that, 90% of food isn't really used by anything, or am I wrong?

2)Also, very rare stuff like Blood. Vampiric armor seems quite decent considering the evasion but each piece needs 2 bloods which are so hard to get. Is there any certain way to be getting a certain ingredient or not? I never once was able to craft that armor because of how hard it is to get blood, and even if you use a thief there's a low chance it's gonna drop so wtf

3)I was spamming dungeon with those golden soldiers with thieves but not a single one of them ever dropped any gold. There's only 1 gold bar to be obtained from arena, how else would you realistically get gold besides lvl 25 miners (too much to grind)?

4)Also, where to get Sulfur?

1) To make you upgrade kitchen asap, but Frying pan is quite pointless.
2) Vampiric is the "best" armor before endgame due to evasion stat. Bloods are not too hard to get, but I do agree that it appreciate some buff due to how each Dimension travel half the supply.

3) Miner says: Am I a joke?
4) Same as Obsidian, I would try use Battle Credit to skip 20 waves. Just to make sure last completed level is on XXX21 for example. So u can start at XXX00 and the battle ends after 20, aka 20 of cavern levels.

However, it is too rare and seems pointless to farm in 4 digit levels.

Well idk, i personally consider miner to be really weak, but arguably better than BM or mystic, it's just that in my experience a miner doesn't trigger that many mineshafts and even if he does, it usually is smth like iron ore. Or does gold ore chance depend on the level you are in? Cuz sometimes it's literally only iron ore which is just useless indeed

p.s. also, how are bloods not too hard to get? Don't they drop from a mini boss in lvls ~95? That guy never frigging drops blood. Or must you have lvl 25 thief for guaranteed blood?

What I mean by "not too hard" is the endgame phase, my bad. Because you are going to use better armor, or save Blood in dimensions where you actually needs evasion.

Thief don't actually guarantee to steal.

Miner has extra stat called "Ore Find". They are not designed for battle, but you can invest them in endgame to have a pure 6 Miners team on a level range.

Miner also has a special skill in level 25. If you know how to make proper Soda Script, use said ability, you can actually get rare ores rather than just random portal luck. I only use key for that part.

Miners are the only reliable way to farm Platinum quicker in 4 digits+ level era. Uranium is just too rare for me.
