Miner and Carpenter are useless
Mystic got replaced by Dark Mage for aoe
Rogue is a staple for resources
Nurse is s staple to last a long time
Dark Mage/Huntress/Blade Master are like my top 3 dps. I would use Blade Master's double attack for anything stronger then a miniboss. It's like 7 free hits in the first round instead of 6, and that's if I feel like it.
Huntress gets stronger with more kills... but... no aoe and requires a long grind
Blade Master + Huntress feel like a single target inferior version of dark mage.
Of course, don't just blindly believe anyone saying a specific character is trash, you have to play with them and judge for yourself
If I have to speak from my own personal view, I'm not saying they're either good or bad (miner/carpenter looking at you both) but I find myself having at least 3 healers, 1 rogue, 1 dark mage, and either huntress or blademaster.
if you put the dagger on the left and the saber in the right you can see in the charakter stats there is 0% dodge, same for all other stats they don't ad
What do you think about the soda junkie? Is he useful at all? Not a joke question, I'm pretty new to the game so I'm really not sure.
I know classes unlock new skills at lvl 25 but I'm not sure if the soda junkie is worth leveling and using.
carpenters are OP with their attack, highest single target damage in the game
miner is somewhat useful when you first enter a new dimension for grinding out ores.
nurse is great for heals. their level 25 group heal is only good early on, since it only scales with magic %, your health with quickly outpace it. the single target heal is amazing though.
mystic is great until you get your relics upgraded a decent amount, since at level 25 the get a mana regen spell, that affects your whole party. basically a battery. useless pretty quickly in D11 since you have enough mana for you to rely only on faries for mp
thief is really good, getting all 3 chests gives much more loot, and their level 25 ability doubles essence gain (outside of gnomes and converting gold).
huntress is useless. their soul bond skill is worthless, taking 50,000 kills OF A SINGLE ENEMY TYPE to max out at a pitiful 1000 bonus damage. by the time you get that many kills, you will be around floor 200,000. 1000 damage is nothing by then. mark is also really bad. 50% more damage isnt worth giving up a slot that could be used for another nurse, thief, or damage dealer.
Darkmage is also really good. great aoe with a fast animation. eventually (as in 250k+) they beat out carpenters as best dps, as they can clear floors faster with their faster animations. even during the story, having access to poison and a long stun move makes them great against bosses.
blademaster is just really bad. both skills are really bad, since they lose their next turn anyways. never a point in where using them makes sense.
XX is really good. a mandatory choice in any D11 team.
