My problem is, what would be my motivation to keep playing?

The step up from "hot dog" to "pastry dough" seems quite steep the second time around; I don't remember that being there the first time?

I'm hitting a brutal wall on the pastry dough the second time around; and the final achievement in beginner town is also hard to get. I haven't re-arranged the grid for days now.

On the first playthrough, the coins from the Beginner Town achievements allowed me a big speed boost which helped me right around then, I think? But with time loop, the speedup isn't as big, and I feel I'm just getting stuck there.

The second time, it took me a month to complete Beginner Town; and then two more months to complete Eatown and get all achievements again. That's more than two times as long as I needed to complete the game the first time around. I strongly recommend against it.
