Anyone have this running on windows 8 or 8.1?

I've been playing it on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit without any problems.

Yes, I'm running Windows 8.1. I downloaded the legacy driver like other forums talked about but on start up the game would mimumize right away and not start up. All you have to do is after installing the legacy drive find the Frontline program in \Steam\SteamApps\common\Frontlines Fuel of War\Binaries it is the FFOW application and change the properties to run in compatibility mode Windows 7. It should work fine after that. This is usually a fix for any games that run on Windows 7 and are having problems on Windows 8.

This game doesn't work on windows 8, I have tried using compatibility mode on the FFOW application. I haven't been able to find a workaround anywhere on the net

No problems on 8.1 after installing the resident physx drivers.

I'm guessing you did not bother to look at the tutorial? The one posted directly above your post that says "FFoW Multiplayer Tutorial"?
