im also wondering this-- particularly about multiplayer. is there a multiplayer population? or are we all hoping this sale will reinvigorate the multiplayer servers?

The master servers were shut down because THQ is no more.
So it's basically just a singleplayer game now :|

The answer is no.

Hell NO! There's NO multiplayer to speak of. This game sucked when it was released, and it sucks now. Don't waste your money. This from a diehard FPS fan...this NOT being an FPS that is ANY good.

(Yes, I do own it. Bought it at initial release. Never should have. No, I don't own it on Steam.)

If you're looking for a Singleplayer game then YES it's worth it for $5

I found it quite enjoyable back in the day on my Xbox 360 and I just bought again on PC

the singleplayer it's funny, it's kinda like section 8 in which you can swap class and use the equipment that better fits your playstyle or the situation...the setting it's near future, something like BO2 or GRAW...overall at 75% it's a no brainer for me, i have the boxed copy and now i own it on steam too...

I enjoyed the game when it came out...probably will get it on steam too, SP was good...worth the money, now that it is on discount. ...but it's a shame the multiplayer is dead

I got it wen it released on console. It had a few fun moments, but overall it was not fun. Without multiplayer I'd let this one go.

I loved this game. Only game I believe that had 64 players online on Xbox 360. It was really awesome. I would love to play it again, but it seems the multiplayer is dead. Singelplayer is pretty fun, but it was the multiplayer that really made this game. So fun "trolling" people with remote flying helicopters :)

I really enjoyed the game. It was a fun single player. Tried multiplayer for like 15 minutes and didn't like the "warping" around lag that it had. I'd buy it for the singleplayer. Well worth it if it will run on your PC.

Put it this way it is the LAST GREAT game than supports LAN play without the need for steam or online activation etc.
HOWEVER if your not going to host a massive LAN party with this game (16 upto 64 players) then its NOT worth it as the Internet Master server has been shut down meaning INTERNET MP IS DEAD, and SP is a bit flat (the AI is not amazing).
Shame as the game was good whlist it was alive.

The story is great the drones and rc explosives, the little helicopters with missle launch you fly around in parts of the game are some of the coolest gadgets ive seen ..I love this game..Its no cod but the story is better..Highly reccomend i have played this about 10 times through and started again tonight

I have the game, tried so hard to get into it but the game just doesnt have much to offer to make it playable.
