Game won't start

after a fresh install and double checking all the extra things you need to install with it i click play game, the mini window showing the logo pops up but then it crashes saying that the game stopped working.

yes my drivers are up to date, yes my specs are way above the required amount and yet i can't get the game to work, i tried running in XP Compatibility mode and running it as an administrator.

i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

any ideas on what i could do?

Do you have a nvidia card?

I think that you need the NVIDIA PhysX Legacy system software[www.nvidia.com] to play:

i actually already have that, i needed it to play another game that didn't want to work on newer physx drivers

Single player? Did you try running in Windows mode? Does it give you a specific error?

exactly as i said: i click play game and it crashes saying "Frontlines has stopped working" i don't even get to the tittle screen to try single player, and since i can't get the option screen up i haven't been able to turn on windowed mode.

Odd, I run Win7 64bit Pro so it should be same setup as yours, I also have a nVidia card as well, and not getting these issues. I am wondering if you might have some sort of UAC issue? Its a long shot, but check it out.

I have the same problem! I went to Nvidia and installed the physx driver and it still says it won't run because it is missing the Ageia Physx. It is annoying as I purchased the game today and so wanted to play it! Anyone has ideas what else to do???

The same thing is happening to me. But except I don't receive an error. The mini window opens and tries to run the game, but the mini window instantly closes, and then opens again. It opens and closes constantly without anything happening and the game won't start up. How to solve this problem? I installed all the programs that came with the game in the first initialization step.
