No controller support?
I know what you are thinking "Controllers are retarted" and for some games yes they are, but this isn't one of them, I think it would be great with contoller support myself. I know tons of people who wouldn't buy this game just because it didn't have contoller support, its really dumb to not even have atleast the option to do it, they would probably make tons more sales if they implement even as simple as the ability to map it yourself like Planetside 2, however I much prefer they just leave their orginal formating from the consol so its as easy as plug and play. I know tons of games even PC only games that are getting gamepad support becasue its becoming popular so it would be very wise to take a few minets or hours into just making the PC version of Frontlines have contollers, I think $100 to $500 to make it have contoller support for $1,000 to even $10,000 extra dollars in profit would be an ok investment myself.

Game is old and no longer beiong developed. Kaos are long gone and out of business. The current owner of the IP never got all the software code for the game, so they can not and are not doing anything for the game. It is what it is.

It is one of them. It's a shooter on PC platform where gamers are obsessed with skill. Pad is a stupid choice for MP. Period.

Totally depends on the style of game. The problem with gamepads is that they don't have as wide a range of precision, you can set sensitivity to work within one range, but then it won't be feasible for another (if you set low sensitivty for sniping you won't be able to do anything in close combat and vice versa). So controllers work fine in stuff like Call of Duty, Titanfall and corridor shooters where just about all combat takes place at the close to medium distance, but games forcing you to adapt between various distances, such as this, Battlefield, ARMA, Red Orchestra etc. are much harder to play with a controller. It still kinda works if you always play one specific role and set up the sensitivity accordingly though. That said, Frontlines was released about two years before the 360 gamepad became the standard controller on the PC, and thus doesn't support it natively.
