Frontlines: Fuel of War PC Retail Edition

I am planning to purchase this game not from Steam, but the retail CD version. Before I buy this game, I want to know if there are any patches that make the game function properly on this platform.

If the retail version of this game does not work at all, I will consider buying it on Steam when the next sale comes.

https://www.moddb.com/games/frontlines-fuel-of-war/downloads Maybe if you install the latest one, it can work for you. I do not guarantee if it will work, because I did not buy it retail, but here.
