Difficulty perks at all?
By playing on a harder difficulty do you get any more exp, better drop rates for items or anything other than a more challenging/fun gameplay?

Difficulty is purely for the challenge but can be changed at any point.

Currently, playing on a harder difficulty doesn't offer any rewards. However, we may include this in future updates.

It would be good if you were rewarded, that is one thing I loved about ToT, Harder difficulty seemed to give more rewards for winning the battles.

Just my 1 cent, I don't think harder difficulties should give any rewards unless you are balancing the game to account for that fact.

If the difficulty offers better rewards, it's likely to make the game easier... So there's no point in better rewards.

Isn't finishing a fight in insane mode rewarding enough?

I was considering the idea in an opposite way, like adding friendly fire to hard/insane difficulties, but I'm not sure if it's possible. I need to ask the team :D

OOoooh crap. That would be fun :p But I have to speed up to earn the steam achievment before you do this to insane mode.

I am considering Normal for another play through, to play in a more action-oriented way, instead of spending 99% of the fight in tactical slow motion.
