The fight you described is really difficult only on hard. On this difficulty, I had to spend 5-7 fights before a successful outcome.
i picked normal, i was expecting a normal level of difficulty
You shouldn't expect that normal difficulty should be tailored around your skill level.
You can't do it in normal, you're not good enough, change the difficulty.
or you know, just not buy the game, that also works
i was providing feedback based on my experience, devs can ignore it no prob, but the demo tells me this isnt a game i would enjoy
because ideally the game should be balanced around normal difficulty, if normal difficulty is so busted im going to assume easy has the same BS, that is enemies that appear behind you, enemies alerted from across the map when you start an encounter, etc, the only difference being that now they have less health or you have more health
that aint fun, normal difficulty being busted speaks of underlying problems
but i shouldnt have to explain this, this comment: "I don't get it. You can't succeed in normal difficulty, so you can't enjoy the game?" really deserves one response:
im not having fun, so im not buying it, thats all there is to it
For example, in hard mobs have special affixes just like Hack'n'slash love to do.
I won't talk about story/easy. Didn't tried these.
So no, maybe there's more than just "enemies have less health"
Just like i already said to someone else, i breezed through normal and had no sweat on hard so i don't understand your struggling.
The moment you died to is an event. There are no mobs alerted across the map.
I dislike too spawning enemies in your back but if you die, you restart with this knowledge and manage the fight differently.
Like, i'm a total noob on FPS games. I know that if i die it's because of me, not the game.
I won't go on forums to say "YOUR GAME IS THRASH I DIED IT IS NOT BALANCED"
You can't argue about the difficulty, you can give "feedbacks". But for that, it's better to give arguments.
You don't accept my point of view either it seems. The game ain't perfect. But the game ain't difficult.
So yeah, the only thing you can say is "as a melee, early game is hard". It's true.
And you know what ? As a warrior you can equip bows/guns etc
Just sayin
You just need to try more than half a second and you can clear it.
In every single game there are people that lack skill who spam "your game is poorly balance/garbage/random things" and none of these people ever acknowledge that the problem is with them and not the game...
The reason why game have different difficulty is because some people lack the skill to play on the hightest difficulty. And if you lack the skill to play on hard you play on normal, if you lack the skill to play on normal you play on easy. You dont ask the game to be nerfed because you're entilted and refuse to use the difficulty that fit your skill.
So yes it is a balance issue, not to mention you are expected to learn how to manage 2 characters in what is essentially real time combat with overwhelming numbers of enemies the first time you do it. Also the load times are HDD slow on my SSD, so ya it needs work. Literal fact.
The seconde to easiest isn't hard... Don't insult people for your lack of skill.
Even with the fact that some mob spawn after a combat start there is no moment where there is an "overwhelming" amount of mob. Just use your skill proprely. With this you have an unlimited amount of pause so you can take all your time to manage things.
This game is as easy as any D&D or even Divinity.
Try to get better or lower the difficulty and take some time to grow up instead of insulting other randomly.
