Just looking for clarification. Do you create the -main- character? Specifically the player character the story is centered around, or are we stuck with a story centered around someone who cannot customize top to bottom?

You can create two main characters - story will revolve around them. Creation = both selection of the main class, starting attributes, etc. - as well as small cosmetic changes.

Was gender choice a part of the creation? Its not going to be the usual male fighter, female mage, female archer etc JRPG is it? Please allow us to choose.

All the games you were "inspired by" all have REAL character creation... so it'll be odd if you don't. But whatever, I'm not a game dev lol

I just watched the 9 min gameplay video, and correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no gender choice, you must create a male and a female character.

In fact, you don't create characters, you just customize existing ones.

Looks like you can either play as the brother or sister as your character. Similar to what Dragon Age 2 did back in the days.

Only wished that we could also customize their race, too. Even at the risk of requiring more flexibility in the plot.

That's not what I undertood from the store page, it seems to me that it's more like in Divinity Original Sin : you play both, but unlike D:OS you can't choose the gender.

Just saw video, looked pretty good, though I hope there will be a few more head choices.

Just to note: for me personally, the status bars on your chars and on enemys are too present in combat, they are like an eye catcher but more on a disturbing way.
