Linda threw the sword/knife at her, killing her.
Linda has had enough of this insane ghost craziness, realized that Siska dragged her and her friends/classmates into it for some war against monster/gods that she doesn't care about.
Her life was ruined, friends killed, her reputation with everyone is awful to hostile.
She is done with that ♥♥♥♥, basically, is what I got out of the ending.
She's always been a pragmatic kinda oddball character that just liked her little life being an oddball kid in highschool and that was stolen from her by Siska's whole plan which treated them all as a sacrifice for power.
The endcard is a big "F- you and your plan." to what she's seen as the major antagonist since the end of the first game. I find it fitting, though I would like more to what happens after, it does need more closer.
They could have at least show some scenes of what happens to her next or do some kind of new game + where we can freely walk in the city and be able to finish the other sidequests for example.
don't forget that the game is buggy as hell lol, game was probably rushed to meet the deadline, don't know why this game isn't in early access tbh. I still enjoyed the game, but I call things how I see them and this game seems incomplete and rushed out the door.
Also, wtf happened to that demon that was suppose to protect you when ur in danger? will that be dlc or was cut out or wat? the one linda meets when she's small, that part of the story went nowhere
I didn't even realize the snake fight was the final one ^^ it was super hard but after 4-5 trials it was done. I still hope they can add more content to the game.
I miss the time I could find items which could improve my heath (it could be eating at a snack / noodle bar for example) or can change clothes in her wardrobe, get back your health by resting...
There is room for improvement :)
That demon ? Ah yeah that's true, maybe it became the cat actually ?
Indeed, I think they should redo this scene at least showing Linda hitting her with rage / anger / whatever and walk away. Right now Siska's last scene feels comical. This game is great (and really hard sometimes), it's too bad it had to end up like this.
Yeah, some video or playable aftermath would have been nice for closure.
Yeah my message is irrelevant now as they added two new endings and a new boss. I'm much much more happy with the content they added ! :)
I just wonder now if they do a new episode, which ending will they choose ? The one in which she doesn't accept miss Siska's proposal makes more sense.
The world turned into a mess, it could look something like the end of Drakengard when the "mother" is teleported on earth and destroy all humanity with a virus which leads to Nier.
Never recall her getting any urge to really hurt anyone herself. She was actually kind of peaceful in an odd way.
So seeing her willing stab someone in the chest who wasn't even a threat at the moment. Speaks alot of that moment, Especially considering what she had been through in the first DreadOut.
I felt proud to see her do that, like she finally stepped up and took control for herself. Why it was perfect when she said she didn't expect that cuz she really wasn't expecting that. Cuz Linda always did appear as pushover since she has a general passive nature. Which made her a very easy target to play with and manipulate.
